The highest towing ratings available on the standard F-150 come when the truck is equipped with the 375 horsepower 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine. This engine is able to tow up to 12,200 pounds, when properly equipped.

Towing numbers are not available for the final engine offered on the 2017 F-150, Ford’s high-performance EcoBoost 3.5-liter V-6. This engine is exclusive to the special Raptor trim level, which is optimized for off-road performance.
