Крупнейший американский автомобильный производитель Ford ведет подготовку к выпуску на рынок второго поколения своего популярного спортивного пикапа F-150 Raptor 2018 модельного года. Сначала продажи начнутся в Северной Америке. Там новинку можно будет приобрести уже в сентябре этого года.

Американским поклонникам данного бренда станут доступны сразу две конструктивные вариации автомобиля: с полуторной (SuperCab) и двойной (SuperCrew) кабиной. Представители компании уже сделали заявление о том, что официальных поставок Ford F-150 Raptor 2018 на наш рынок не будет. Однако, по мнению специалистов, это не остановит владельцев «серых» автосалонов и они найдут возможность доставлять обновленный пикап и нашим автолюбителям.

Основой для второго поколения пикапа стала платформа от предыдущей классической модели F-150 тринадцатой версии. Но в ее конструкцию были внесены серьезные изменения и поправки, которые позволили создать по-настоящему мощный и роскошный автомобиль.

Этот громадный пикап с легкостью преодолевает любое бездорожье. Кроме того, он обладает впечатляющей скоростью и прекрасной маневренностью. Внешне машина выглядит стильно, дорого и агрессивно.

Новая модель Ford F-150 кардинально отличается от своего классического собрата. «Нос» автомобиля украшает массивная радиаторная решетка черного цвета с огромной табличкой в виде названия компании. Также спереди разместились три осветительных элемента на желтых светодиодах. Аккуратный бампер выглядит стильно и необычно. Он расположен на достаточно большом расстоянии от земли, что очень важно для внедорожника.

Для лучшей устойчивости на дороге конструкторы существенно расширили передний и задний мосты. Размер резины также вырос на шесть дюймов. Производитель обещает, что даже на базовую комплектацию модели будут устанавливаться роскошные литые диски и специально разработанные покрышки.

Колесные арки надежно защищены от внешних повреждений накладками из высокопрочного пластика. Сзади машина оборудована массивным бампером с логотипом компании и названием модели, а также двумя выхлопными трубами солидного размера.

Оформление салона

Что касается салона, то здесь дизайнеры потрудились на славу. Стильный и качественный интерьер – это одна из изюминок новинки. В отделке используется натуральная кожа, дорогая ткань, современный пластик, элементы из карбона и алюминия.

Поскольку модель позиционируется как спортивное авто, то и кресла здесь выполнены соответствующим образом. По бокам они имеют поддержку и регулируются посредством электрического привода. Также имеются функции подогрева и вентиляции.

Кроме этого, внутри салона можно встретить следующие системы и дизайнерские элементы:

  • мультифункциональный руль;
  • мультимедийный комплекс с сенсорным управлением;
  • климат-контроль для двух зон;
  • ручные тормоза электрического типа;
  • потолочная консоль, оснащенная шестью вариантами разъемов;
  • оригинально выполненная приборная панель оборудована восьмидюймовым монитором;
  • у варианта конструкции SuperCrew (двойная кабина) сзади расположен очень удобный диван;
  • необычная прозрачная крыша имеет функциональный люк.

Во время покупки можно самостоятельно подобрать цветовую палитру салона. Выбор достаточно большой. Помимо базовой комплектации за отдельную плату предлагается расширенный пакет функций, включающий различные современные системы помощи и безопасности.

Техническое оснащение Ford F-150 Raptor 2018

Технические характеристики нового поколения Ford F-150 Raptor 2017-2018 года: в отличии от простых версий пикапа F-150 модификация Raptor стандартно оснащается энергоемкой подвеской Fox Racing Shox с оригинальными амортизаторами диаметром 3 дюйма (5,5 см), обеспечивающими высокую производительность с огромным свободным ходом подвески (спереди 284 мм, сзади 304 мм), полным приводом с новой раздаточной коробкой (в наличии механическая блокировка и гибкое распределение тяги между передними и задними колесами), системой Terrain Management System, позволяющей изменять алгоритмы работы мотора, коробки передач, подвески и электронных систем (ABS, Traction control и Electronic Stability Control) с шестью режимами (Normal mode — для повседневной езды, Street mode — для быстро передвижения по асфальту, Weather mode — дождь, снег или наледь, Mud and sand mode — грязь или песок, Baja mode — для быстрого передвижения по песчаной местности, Rock mode — ползущий режим для преодоления участков с камнями или валунами). Если и такого внедорожного арсенала покажется недостаточно, производитель предлагает в качестве опции дифференциал повышенного трения для передней оси типа Torsen.

  • Под капотом нового поколения пикапа Ford F-150 Raptor пропишется бензиновый турбированный 3,5-литровый V6 из семейства Ecoboost (450 лс 610 Нм) в паре с новейшей 10-ти ступенчатой АКПП. По предварительным данным, двигатель, автоматическая трансмиссия и полный привод обеспечивают пикап динамикой разгона от 0 до 100 кмч за 6,3 сек, вот только максимальная скорость ограничена электроникой на рубеже 160 кмч.
  • мягкую подвеску «Fox Racing Shox», оснащенную специально разработанными трехмиллиметровыми амортизаторами;
  • полноприводную систему с эксклюзивной раздаточной коробкой нового поколения;
  • технологию с набором функций «Terrain Management System», позволяющую водителю самому выбирать алгоритмы работы двигателя, параметры подвески и других систем автомобиля.

Честно говоря,  новый Форд Ф-150 Раптор — феноменальный автомобиль, и у его конкурентов Dodge Ram 1500 Rebel, Toyota Tundra TRD Pro и Nissan Titan Warrior шансов просто нет в борьбе с лучшим на сегодняшний день пикапом для серьезного бездорожья.

The most expensive 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is $72,965

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is one of the hottest trucks entering the market, and the configurator is now online – check it out here. The starting price of $49,520 seems reasonable for so much capability, but we want to know what the most expensive Raptor costs. We checked every available option box to find out, and the price balloons to $72,965. Keep reading to find out all the extras you get for so much extra money.

One of buyers’ major decisions is whether to opt for the more spacious SuperCrew body for $2,985, rather than the standard SuperCab. The choice means more room in the cabin, especially for occupants in the rear, and 91 percent of the configurator’s users tick this box, according to Ford.

With the choice of body style out of the way, it’s time to pick a color. This is a tricky choice, though. Among the shades, only Ruby Red comes at an extra cost ($395). However, you can’t have the crimson hue and the $750 Interior Color Accent Package that adds orange cabin trim and an aluminum dashboard garnish. In the spirit of maximizing price, our fantasy truck has the more vibrant upholstery and the Blue Oval’s azure exterior (below).

  • 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor First Drive: Baja boss

The 802A option package costs a significant $9,345, which is 18 percent of the Raptor SuperCrew’s cost. The extra money buys a ton of features, though. For example, buyers get amenities like Ford’s Sync 3 infotainment system with navigation, a limited-slip Torsen differential for the front axle, 360-degrees of cameras, blind-spot monitoring, trailer backup assist, and LED convenience lighting in the bed and side mirrors. An additional $1,950 adds the Raptor Technology Package that includes lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, automatic high beams, rain-sensing wipers, and adaptive cruise control with collision mitigation.

With these high-tech upgrades out of the way, it’s time to give the Raptor some extra style, and Ford has plenty of options for customers to outfit their perfect truck. The most expensive of these if $1,295 for a twin-panel moonroof, and $1,165 for a set of 17-inch black bead-lock capable wheels is a close second. Our fantasy truck also has the $1,075 Exterior Graphics Package and $900 Hood Graphics Package. The pickup’s bed looks cool with a combination of a $995 hard tonneau cover, $495 spray-in liner, $495 tailgate appliqué with prominent Ford branding, and a $250 bed extender.

These are just some of the $20,460 in amenities on the fully optioned 2017 Raptor. The tech upgrades would likely be welcome additions for most buyers, but the styling tweaks are a matter of personal preference. Even without the aesthetic additions, this remains a seriously mean-looking pickup. Deliveries of the muscle truck begin in the United States in December, so expect to see them on the road soon.

Was it worth the wait? Hell, yeah! Ford unleashed the 2017 F-150 Raptor at the Detroit Motor Show and it looks incredible.

The all-new Raptor is powered by a 3.5 liter EcoBoost V6 with a 10-speed automatic transmission, is over 500 pounds lighter and is expected to produce more horsepower than the last model’s 6.2 liter, V8.

The new blue beast also loses its SVT designation since joining the Ford Performance group.

The all-new four wheel drive Raptor offers six preset driving modes including: Normal for everyday driving, Street for high-performance, Weather for the elements, Mud & Sand for off-roading, Baja for high-speed desert runs and Rock for crawling.

What the All-New 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor Could Cost

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor has made quite an impression on off-road enthusiasts everywhere even before its scheduled public release in the fall of 2016. The all-new Raptor bids farewell to the beloved 411hp 6.2L V8 in favor of an all-new 3.5L EcoBoost V6 that is said to make 450hp as well as more torque than the outgoing 6.2L V8, which put out 435 lb-ft of torque. Of course, we really can’t say if this engine will be much better than the 6.2L V8 because we still don’t know what its horsepower or torque band looks like. This got us to thinking – could the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor cost significantly more than the last available F-150 Raptor?

Luckily we already know what the added cost of the aluminum body is on the all-new Ford F-150 but with the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor, it’s anyone’s guess as to how much the base SuperCab and Crew Cab will cost since they will feature a second generation 3.5L EcoBoost V6, which is a $1,995 option on the 2015 Ford F-150 XLT SuperCab. With the high output 450hp 3.5L EcoBoost V6 engine putting out more power and torque than the old 6.2L V8, it could potentially increase the overall cost of the new Raptor. On top of that, the 2017 Raptor will also be outfitted with an all-new 10-speed automatic transmission which might also lead to a price increase compared to the 2014 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor. Keep in mind that the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will also feature an all-new transfer case that has all-wheel drive capability while also allowing you to select RWD, 4WD lock (high range) and 4WD Low (low range).

So what about all the other hardware like wheels, tires, shocks and bespoke body panels? Wheels are a bit harder to factor into the equation because the Raptor comes standard with Raptor specific 17-inch alloy wheels which means there is no need for the standard F-150 wheels and thus could make the overall price tag of the wheels decrease. When it comes to the tires however, we can find out how much the Raptor’s new tires will cost. We priced out a set of 35x12.50R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires online and found the cost of each tire at $265.99. Since the Raptor uses a full-size spare tire, this would mean the new tires could be seen as a $1,329.95 option on a new 2015 Ford F-150 SuperCab or Crew Cab.

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor will also feature FOX Racing 3.0-inch diameter internal bypass shocks at all four corners. FOX Racing Shocks currently offers bolt in Raptor 3.0-inch shocks so it wouldn’t be a stretch to assume that these shocks may very well be closely related to the shocks that will be offered on the all-new Raptor. Of course they would use bushings rather than rod ends. The FOX Racing 3.0 Raptor front shocks are priced at $2,699.99 while the rear shocks are priced at $2,199.99 for the pair. Yup, that’s a total of $4,899.98 in just shocks but if you’ve ever driven a Raptor off-road, you can see why they’re worth it.

So what does this all mean for the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor? Will this be one of the most expensive half-ton pickup trucks on the market? If the base price of the King Ranch F-150 4x4 starts at $48,885 ($53,905 after destination charges), could the all-new Raptor be setting itself up for a base price north of $60,000?

We decided to run the numbers and see what the all-new Raptor could potentially start at when it’s released to the public in the fall of 2016.

Now that you know the price of the models that could be used as a base starting point for the 2017 Raptor as well as the specific parts used to build one, such as tires and shocks, you have to ask yourself – Could the 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor end up costing over $60,000 for a base model? We think it’s a definite possibility. Just to stir the pot a bit, we decided to see what a base Lariat SuperCab as well as a base King Ranch SuperCrew 3.5L EcoBoost V6 4x4 could end up cost a consumer after adding a full FOX Racing 3.0 internal bypass shock system as well as a set of 35x12.50R17 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires.

Editor’s Note: It’s worth mentioning that our calculations don’t take into account the cost of the new 3.5L EcoBoost V6, the all-new 10-speed automatic transmission or the new transfer case that will be used on the Raptor which could drive up the cost when it’s all said and done. The SuperCab model would also require a shorter 5.5-foot box rather than the standard 6.5-foot box.
