Новый пикап Шевроле Колорадо ZR2 создан для истинных ценителей бездорожья и экстремального вождения. Новинка призвана составить достойную конкуренцию таким популярным на американском рынке моделям, как Форд Раптор и Додж Рам 1500. Большим преимуществом среднеразмерного пикапа от Шевроле в данном случае является его более доступная стоимость по сравнению с основными конкурентами.

Внешний дизайн Шевроле Колорадо ZR2

ZR2 представляет собой особую модификацию пикапа Шевроле Колорадо, адаптированную для передвижения по пересеченной местности. В том, что перед нами настоящий покоритель бездорожья, не возникает никаких сомнений уже при первом взгляде на автомобиль. На это указывает и внушительный дорожный просвет, и огромные колеса, и особая форма бамперов, обеспечивающая максимальную проходимость, и наличие мощной алюминиевой защиты, охватывающей картер, радиатор и раздаточную коробку.

Передняя часть кузова имеет оригинальный узнаваемый дизайн. Радиаторная решетка с крупными ячейками разделена на 2 части широкой полосой черного цвета. Фары головного света имеют правильную форму и светодиодное наполнение. Расширенная колея передних колес делает внешний вид новинки еще более мужественным.

Для автомобиля доступно два различных варианта исполнения: С полуторной кабиной Extended Cab, имеющей задние двери-створки и предназначенной для посадки 4 человек;

С полноценной кабиной Crew Cab, позволяющей с комфортом разместить пятерых человек. Такая кабина имеет полноразмерные двери для первого и второго ряда сидений.

По умолчанию новинка комплектуется интеллектуальным полным приводом с возможностью выбора одного из 9 режимов работы в зависимости от дорожной обстановки. Другим достоинством пикапа являются регулируемые амортизационные стойки. Ранее, аналогичное оснащение можно было встретить лишь на спорткарах (Шевроле Камаро, Астон Мартин, Мерседес-AMG GT). Алюминиевые стойки с тремя клапанами позволяют менять режимы работы подвески для получения максимальной проходимости и управляемости.

Для передней подвески доступно 6 различных режимов, для задней — 4. При этом регулировке поддается не только степень сжатия, но и отбой стоек.

Таким образом, сочетание умного полного привода, регулируемых стоек амортизаторов и мощных силовых агрегатов позволяет сделать автомобиль универсальным. Он может быть использован как для повседневной езды, так и для покорения настоящего бездорожья.

Экстремальный пикап Chevrolet Colorado ZR2: Raptor в миниатюре

Семь лет назад Ford со своим Раптором стал первооткрывателем целого направления мощных пикапов для быстрой езды по бездорожью. От базового трака такой Ford F-150 Raptor отличался оригинальной подвеской с толстенными рычагами, усиленным задним мостом, дорогущими амортизаторами Fox Racing Shox и мотором мощностью более 400 л.с. В прошлом году за конкурентами последовал и концерн Fiat Chrysler с аналогичным пикапом Ram Rebel TRX, а теперь похожая машина появилась и у GM: на автосалоне в Лос-Анджелесе дебютировал «заряженный» Chevrolet Colorado ZR2. Причем в компании без лишней скромности называют себя основоположниками класса, ведь если Raptor и Rebel — полноразмерные пикапы, то Colorado ZR2 — первый экстремальный пикап среднего размера.

Машину приподняли над дорогой на пять сантиметров, колея расширена на девять сантиметров, а в передней подвеске сварные рычаги заменили более прочными коваными. Но изюминка автомобиля — амортизаторы канадской фирмы Multimatic с выносными компенсационными камерами и фирменными золотниковыми клапанами DSSV. В алюминиевых корпусах амортизаторов установлено по два таких клапана, еще один — на штоке (он вступает в действие при больших ходах подвески). А передние демпферы снабжены дополнительными клапанами, срабатывающими в крайних положениях хода отбоя.

Клапаны DSSV позволяют придать демпферам разные характеристики в зависимости от перемещений штока, причем независимо на сжатие и отбой. «В амортизаторах с клапанами традиционной конструкции можно подбирать только две характеристики «сопротивление/скорость». А здесь в нашем распоряжении — четыре характеристики на задних амортизаторах и шесть — на передних», — объяснял исполнительный директор Chevrolet по спортивному инжинирингу Марк Дикенс. Кстати, амортизаторы с похожей системой устанавливаются на купе Camaro Z28 и широко применяются в автоспорте.

Снаружи Colorado ZR2 несложно опознать благодаря рельефному капоту с черной вставкой, крупноячеистой решетке радиатора, расширителям арок и подрезанному понизу переднему бамперу. Последнее сделано ради функциональности: такой бампер труднее повредить на бездорожье. Кабину снизу защищают силовые пороги, низ радиатора и картер двигателя прикрыты алюминиевой пластиной, отдельно защищена и раздаточная коробка. Беспрецедентно широки внедорожные возможности трансмиссии (передняя ось подключается с помощью муфты): помимо понижающей передачи, предусмотрены электрические блокировки заднего и переднего межколесных дифференциалов.

А вот силовые агрегаты экстремальному Colorado положены те же самые, что и гражданскому: это бензиновый V6 3.6 (308 л.с.) в комплекте с восьмиступенчатым «автоматом» Hydra-Matic 8L45 и четырехцилиндровый дизель Duramax 2.8 (181 л.с.) с шестиступенчатым «автоматом».

По поводу цены на Colorado ZR2 представители Chevrolet выступили без конкретики, пообещав лишь, что она будет «доступной». Очевидно, если сравнивать с тем же Раптором, который стоит минимум 48 тысяч долларов, то экстремальный Colorado действительно будет заметно дешевле. Но цены на обычные Colorado с полноприводной трансмиссией и бензиновым V6 в США начинаются с 28790 долларов, так что ZR2 будет стоить не меньше 40 тысяч.
