    Передняя часть автомобиля выглядит фантастически. Плавный передний капот и оптимальный угол наклона лобового стекла создают почти идеальные условия для невероятной аэродинамики.

    Тыльная часть Шевроле Тахо 2017 года немного не вписывается в общую концепцию дизайна. Но, это не значит, что корма слабовата. Наоборот, задняя часть выглядит уникальной и неповторимой. Практически всю её площадь занимает дверца багажника, что явно свидетельствует о высокой вместительности нового Тахо. Фары задней головной оптики имеют прямоугольную форму, и также выполнены по светодиодной технологии.

    Салон Шевроле Тахо 2017 года стал еще более вместительным. Все три ряда сидений являются максимально комфортными и вместительными. В случае, если нужно перевезти большой груз, отлично подойдёт багажный отсек объёмом 2 680 л, но при сложенном заднем ряде кресел.

    Стоит отметить, что основной акцент разработчики сделали именно на комфорте салона. Поэтому, система шумоизоляции близка к совершенству, и её смело можно называть одной из лучших в автомобильном мире.

    Третий ряд свободно вмещает двух взрослых людей и ребёнка. При желании, можно усадить и трёх взрослых, но не очень габаритных пассажиров.

    Приборная панель выглядит очень технологичной и многофункциональной. В центре её можно заметить восьмидюймовый сенсорный экран, на котором отображаются все внутренние и внешние процессы.

    В качестве руля используется фирменная «баранка» Шевроле с удобным регулятором положения.

    Технические характеристики

    В качестве силового агрегата разработчики предлагают только один двигатель. Его роль выполняет V-образный восьмицилиндровый бензиновый агрегат, с объёмом 5,3 л, который выдаёт 355 лошадиных сил.

    Расход топлива автомобиля при движении по трассе составляет всего 10,5 л, что является отличным результатом, и лучшим показателем в классе.

    Безопасность

    Систему безопасности нового Тахо можно смело назвать передовой и сверхсовременной. Наибольшее внимание уделено таким моментам, как мониторинг «слепых зон», система ограничения скорости, парктроник и противоаварийная система.

    Кузов автомобиля выполнен из сверхпрочного метала, а его конструкция позволяет выдерживать сильные фронтальные и боковые удары.

    GM's 5.3-liter V8 with direct injection makes 355 horsepower and 383 pound-feet of torque and comes mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Using a mechanical and electronic process GM invented, it invisibly cuts out four cylinders when the engine is coasting or lightly cruising, to save fuel, although it still burns through gas. It's rated to tow 8600 pounds with the right equipment.

    The 2018 Tahoe RST Edition will bring the 6.2-liter V8 that's in other high-performance GM cars, here making 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque. It will use a ten-speed automatic transmission, the Magnetic Ride active suspension calibrated for handling, Brembo brakes and a Borla exhaust. Until now, a buyer who wanted the ultimate SUV like this had to spend tens of thousands of dollars with an aftermarket tuner/builder. Although it was Chrysler who built the factory SUV hotrod first, with the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT and its hemi engine. The RST is apparently intended to counter that.

    Because the Tahoe weighs nearly 5500 pounds, its fuel mileage is low, at an EPA-estimated 16 City, 23 Highway and 18 miles per gallon Combined with rear-wheel drive or all-wheel drive.

    		 The very first thing possible buyers would notice, after the release date of updated car is trim levels. As for 2017 model year Chevy Tahoe, its configurations were slightly reworked. Just like before, Tahoe is available with 2 possible models (2WD or 4WD) and 3 trim levels for each model – LS, LT and Premier – which leads to 6 possible configurations. The previous top-end LTZ was renamed. What is more, two new design 22-inch rims are available for order.

    Infotainment system received additional functionality – now it features App Shop, ability to customize rear seats reminder, Teen Driver feature was also added.

    One very important change in 2017 Tahoe config – Active Aero Shutters system which improves aerodynamics in while highway driving by closing and opening grille while necessary. It’s a standard feature of every new Tahoe SUV.

    Unlike larger Suburban, Tahoe is available only with 5.3L V8 engine with 6-speed AT in all configurations.

    Main Trim Level Changes in Chevy Tahoe 2017

    The first thing you may notice in the new LS model – the absence of trim badge in the interior. LS features 8-inch infotainment system, rearview camera, rear park assistant, remote engine start, three-zone automatic climate control. Interior features also include 10-way driver power seat, all-power accessories, cruise control. The SUV has total 10 airbags, including frontal, side-impact and curtain airbags. There are no changes between AWD and FWD except the drive layout.

    The middle range trim of Tahoe traditionally called LT. It features power liftgate with a programmed angle and automatic high-beam headlights. The LT interior adds leather trimmed first and second-row seats, Bose premium sound system, heated front seats with memory function. Additional Enhanced Driver Alert package brings abovementioned automatic headlights, lane keep assistant, forward collision alert and safety alert for driver’s seat.

    Premier features all accessories from LT and LS, and for 2017 model year the top trim level of Tahoe has become even more premium. What do we mean by that? First of all, 12-way power adjustable front seats with heating and ventilation (previously on LTZ it was heated/cooled only), power tilt-telescopic steering wheel with memory, power folding of third-row seats (with power release of second-row seats). The Premier Tahoe also features air suspension called Magnetic Ride Control. Another options are not so luxurious, you could find it in another cars. Like high-intensity headlamps, 20-inch rims, LED DRLs, fog lights, keyless entry. Safety functions list is extended by rear cross traffic, side blind zone and lane change alerts.

    New Colors for 2017 Tahoe

    The color range for the new Tahoe was also reworked. Unfortunately, there is some unpleasant news for some customers. 2017 model year car is unavailable with 4 colors which were deleted from palette. Namely, slate grey, sable, green envy and brownstone metallic paints. There are also some colors added, but only two – blue velvet metallic and pepperdust metallic.

    The new Tahoe really could be considered to be ‘All American’. The vehicle is huge, with a brutal and menacing look; the epitome of power. Although Chevrolet have kept changing the overall look of these models for the last four generations, they seem to have got it just right with this model.     At first glance, the interior is the same as the outgoing model, but when you start looking closely, you’ll see quite a few changes; the center console is different and it’s been fitted with the next generation media systems with an 8” touchscreen, which makes it much easier to select music or even make a call. Sound quality is great. Plus you’ll find every type of socket for connectivity within the cabin, whether that is a phone, laptop or tablet and of course, power points; there are twelve in total, some of them delivering full 110V.
