Bentayga V8 shares the same sleek lines as the other models in the Bentayga range, but adds some distinctive features to create an edgier exterior that matches the car’s dynamic feel. A black and chrome radiator matrix grille adds extra presence at the front, while the rear is enhanced by two twin-quad tailpipes, with a selection of large, striking wheels completing an imposing look. For those seeking to maximise the dramatic effect still further, the Black Specification* replaces all the exterior brightware with black-painted trim and adds a number of contemporary carbon fibre elements.

The handcrafted cabin of the new Bentayga V8 is the ideal setting for the exhilarating journey ahead. The straight fluted seats are as comfortable as they are elegant, with the supple leather hides available in a choice of five different colour splits as standard. The upper cabin is trimmed in Eliade, a soft and tactile fabric available in five colours. And the contemporary sophistication of Dark Fiddleback Eucalyptus veneer, Bentley treadplates and foot pedals in the classic ‘B’ design as standard provide the perfect finishing touches.

The innovative new Bentley V8 engine has been calibrated to suit this exceptionally capable SUV. Powerful and efficient, with seamless power delivery, it provides an effortlessly engaging drive – both on and off the road. It delivers an impressive 542 bhp (550 PS) of power that can take it to a top speed of 180 mph (290 km/h), accompanied by a potent V8 engine sound that reflects the car’s phenomenal capabilities.

The V8 engine achieves its maximum torque of 770 Nm (568 lb ft) at 1,960 rpm and maintains this right through to 4,500 rpm, ensuring rapid acceleration at any engine speed. This allows you to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 4.5 seconds), contributing to the car’s agile, sporty driving experience. Bentayga V8 is brilliantly responsive in the urban environment and truly thrilling on the open road.

Responsiveness and efficiency are both assisted by two twin-scroll turbochargers located inside the ‘V’ of the engine. Further efficiency gains are provided by variable displacement, where four of the eight cylinders are seamlessly shut down when not required, and start-stop technology activated at ‘near-to-stop’ speeds. The result is a fuel-efficient SUV with CO2 emissions of just 260 g/km and a generous range of 746 km.

A range of in-car technology is designed to enhance the journey for both driver and passengers, with navigation, ventilation and a host of other features accessed through an 8” high-resolution touchscreen. Driver assistance technology included as standard, such as Exit Warning and a rear view camera, makes the roads easier to navigate, while Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Apple CarPlay connectivity allows passengers to stay connected to the outside world.

For dedicated audiophiles, the optional Naim for Bentley audio system is the most powerful available for any SUV. Bentayga Hybrid is designed and engineered at the Bentley factory in Crewe, and the Bentley DNA is immediately visible in its sleek lines, B-shaped wing vents and distinctive headlamp cluster. It is instantly recognisable as a member of the Bentayga family, with the flowing curves and seamless surfaces of its advanced aluminium exterior balancing sportiness with SUV presence.

Discreet Hybrid badging on the tailgate and lower door area announce its remarkable capabilities in style, while painted 21” five twin-spoke alloy wheels as standard make an already stunning exterior even more eye-catching.

Handcrafted from the finest materials, Bentayga Hybrid’s interior engenders a sense of calm by soothing the senses. It is beautiful to look at, with the upper cabin trimmed in Eliade, a contemporary technical fabric that contrasts perfectly with the lacquered veneers running around the cabin. It is pleasing to the touch, with exquisitely comfortable fluted seats and a tactile diamond knurling finish to the driver controls. It is also exceptionally relaxing to the ear, with the satisfying silence of the all-electric driving mode enhanced by eight layers of noise isolation that keep the sounds of the city at bay.

Bentley has partnered with the renowned creator, Philippe Starck, to design the Bentley x Starck Power Dock.* This elegant recharging unit, designed for use in either a garage or a carport, will enable Bentayga Hybrid drivers to recharge their vehicle whenever they park it at home, ensuring every journey begins with the maximum electric-only range.

When not in use, the Bentley x Starck Power Dock charging cable is stored out of sight, inside the unit. Its clean lines have been achieved using a combination of innovative manufacturing technologies and sustainable materials, including pressed eco-linen and bio-sourced thermosetting resin. Its smooth, domed face, meanwhile, is achieved using hot-pressure aluminium casting.

Bentley has always pushed the boundaries of performance, and now Bentayga Hybrid adds a new measure by which performance can be judged: serenity – a quality in which this groundbreaking SUV excels. Effortless acceleration, even at low speeds, makes driving feel truly sublime, while the exquisite silence of the electric EV Drive mode brings a sense of calm to urban journeys – one that is enhanced by the satisfaction of enjoying the lowest CO2 emissions of the Bentayga range.

This may be a hybrid, but it is also very much a Bentley. So you can be sure there are no compromises when it comes to the more traditional measures of performance: power and speed. The class-leading V6 petrol engine contains a twin-scroll turbocharger that enables rapid response and high efficiency, and the engine works seamlessly with the electric motor to provide an impressive 700 Nm of combined torque. This allows Bentayga Hybrid to go from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds) and on to a top speed of 158 mph (254 km/h), making this remarkable SUV as exhilarating as it is serene.

Bentayga Hybrid has three modes - Hybrid, Hold and the all-electric EV Drive - covering between them every conceivable customer requirement. In Hybrid mode, intelligent technology ensures the most appropriate energy source is always used, helping to maximise electric driving and minimise emissions and fuel consumption. Intelligent navigation works with the car’s navigation system to preserve battery charge for urban areas. An intelligent accelerator pedal ensures you can feel when you’re about to engage the V6 engine, giving you total control, while intelligent coasting switches off the petrol engine when you take your foot off the accelerator to increase efficiency even further. Intelligent braking seamlessly combines the electric motor with the conventional hydraulic system for light and effortless braking.

A selection of online services accessed through the My Bentley app* use seamless connectivity to enhance the hybrid experience. ‘My battery charge’ allows you to start your SUV charging remotely using the My Bentley app, while E-charging can search for charging stations near your destination and send their location directly to the navigation system. ‘My cabin comfort’ lets you start your journey with the cabin heated or cooled to an optimum temperature of 22°C while still keeping the battery fully charged. When your journey is complete, ‘My trip statistics’ gives you access to mileage and other useful information.

Bentayga Diesel features a number of distinctive and exclusive design features that further enhance its individual character. Subtle styling details include the gloss black matrix grille with a chrome surround and centre bar, along with two twin-quad tailpipes at the rear. It also features the new ‘V8 DIESEL’ badge that sits on the lower edge of the front doors. 

Inside Bentayga Diesel, distinctive design details created by our expert craftspeople give it a unique look and feel. The fluted seat design is both simple and elegant, with the pattern repeated on the door pads. The upper cabin is trimmed in Eliade – a tactile, technical fabric – designed to contrast with the rest of the leather-trimmed cabin. Available in five colours, it adds another level of finesse to the interior. A new veneer choice called Liquid Amber is available as a cost option, with its straight wood grain offering a very contemporary look. In addition, ‘Bentley’ treadplates and the classic ‘B’ design foot pedals are fitted as standard.

Bentayga Diesel is the fastest and most refined luxury diesel ever built. Its all-new 4.0 litre, 8-cylinder, 32-valve diesel engine delivers a top speed of 168 mph (270 km/h) and achieves 0 to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds (0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds). It also produces the deeply satisfying surge of power that defines the Bentley driving experience. Whether gliding past traffic or negotiating terrain off-road, Bentayga Diesel performs with effortless power and elegance.

It offers the kind of power never before seen in a car of this class – the highest output of any diesel SUV at 429 bhp (435 PS). This engine delivers class-leading drivability and refinement. It will come as no surprise that it feels and responds in a familiar way – like a typical Bentley engine.

Bentayga’s V8 diesel engine has adopted much of the same technology that makes its sibling, the W12, the most technically advanced engine in the world. The combination of high power and torque also gives total confidence when towing, under any circumstances, with Bentayga Diesel able to produce an impressive 900 Nm of torque.

One of Bentayga Diesel’s most striking features is the new ‘triple-charging’. It consists of two mechanical, twin-scroll turbochargers uniquely boosted by an 48V electrical system. While not technically a turbocharger, the third unit helps eliminate turbo lag for impressive responsiveness and speed, on or off-road.

Bentayga Diesel’s extended range of over 1000km is made possible courtesy of its highly efficient engine, an 85-litre tank and a host of other technical refinements. The engine also delivers a combined fuel consumption of only 35.3 mpg (8.0 l/100 km).

Bentayga Diesel has highly impressive performance and extended range capabilities, yet emits just 210 g/km of CO2. This is made possible by the latest clean technology such as a particulate filter and selective catalyst reduction. Combined with a host of other technical refinements, Bentayga Diesel delivers an impressive combined fuel consumption of 35.3 mpg (8.0 l/100 km).

Choose from a range of five standard hide colours and seven standard paint colours to personalise your Bentayga Diesel. The Colour Specification is offered as an option and opens up an extended range of colours and choices.

Bentayga Mulliner

It is subtle details, and a choice of unique options, that elevate Bentayga Mulliner to pinnacle standards.

Bentayga Mulliner delivers presence from every angle starting with the all-new Mulliner 22” Paragon wheels. The LED Welcome Lamps make entering the car at night a special occasion, with signature Bentley wings beamed onto the ground to illuminate the scene. The effect is completed by Mulliner Illuminated Treadplates in both front and rear cabin areas.

Inside, Bentayga Mulliner is the pinnacle of craftsmanship and luxury. The four-seat Comfort Specification with rear centre console is the ultimate statement of luxury design. This is immediately evident in the two individual rear seats, which adjust in 18 different ways, and include massage and ventilation functions.

The cabin waist rails and console are finished with new Ombré Burr Walnut veneer. This sophisticated finish transitions seamlessly from Piano Black stain in the front cabin to Burr Walnut in the rear. A new Mulliner handcrafted duo-tone colour split offers seven Mulliner selected colour options, blending traditional and contemporary design language. This is complemented by unique two colour accent stitching on a quilt pattern with new Mulliner contrast accent colours.

For an added touch of comfort there are two soft Mulliner cushions in Alcantara, finished with contrast piping and accent-coloured embroidery, colour-matched to the rear cabin. Mulliner seat embroidery adds a finishing touch in a contrast accent colour.

A unique addition is the Mulliner bottle cooler and chiller, fully integrated into the rear console. The cooling compartment is backlit with LED lighting and features two handcrafted Cumbria Crystal champagne flutes and an illuminated bottle chilling ring. The frosted glass soft-close door is etched with the Mulliner branding. This is coachbuilding at its finest, combining beauty and functionality in equal measure, with exquisite attention to detail.
